Inspiration for design can come from anywhere and everywhere: Nature, Art, Fashion, History, Books, Movies…we are constantly surrounded by visual artistry and creative muses – it’s simply a matter of being perceptive and open to seeing them.
There is always one element that sparks the preliminary design concept – it might be a piece of art owned by the client that provides the color
palette for a room; or the view outside of a window that invokes a mood; a gorgeous fabric pattern; a favorite photograph or a descriptive word or phrase describing how the space ultimately should feel…
That initial source of inspiration and creative direction is different with every project and ultimately, where the real fun begins – developing that kernel of an idea into a fully realized interior space.
